document.write('<tr><td align=left valign=top width="300"><center><BR><H3><u>About the instructor...</u></H3></center><font size="2"><b>Curt Parry</b><p>Mr. Parry holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Western Illinois University and a Masters Degree in Leadership and Administration from North Central College in Naperville. More recently, he earned his National Board Master Teacher Certificate (NBCT) in music.  He is a member of the Illinois Music Educators Association (IMEA), a division of the Music Educators National Conference (MENC). <br/>Mr. Parry completed his 30th year in District 203, where he instructed the curricular choral ensembles, taught the Music History component of the Humanities class, and was the producer and music director for the spring musical at NCHS. He retired at the end of the 2015 school year.</p><BR><BR></font> </td><td align=left valign=top cellpadding=5 width="300"><center><BR><H3><u>About the program...</u></H3></center><font size="2"><p>Classes Mr. Parry taught at NCHS included 3 choirs of varying size and ability level and the team-taught Humanities class. The choirs offered included: Beginning Mixed Choir (Mixed Choir), Intermediate Female Choir (Choralettes), Intermediate Mixed Choir (Concert Choir), and Advanced Mixed Choir (Chorale). The classes met every day for 54 minutes. <br/>The Humanities class employed an innovative schedule which combined instruction in three distinct areas of music, history, and literature. Mr. Parry taught the music history component. </p><p>NCHS also offers these extra-curricular vocal ensembles: </p><p>Hawkappella – a men\'s vocal ensemble meeting T, W, TH mornings at 7:11 am<br/>Chorelles – all girl\'s vocal ensemble<br/>Enchords – a mixed vocal ensemble</p><p>The musical is open for audition to any NCHS student. Choir students are the foundation for the cast.</p></font> </td></tr>')
