About the program...

6th grade students have general music instruction every day for one quarter.

Kennedy offers a 6th Grade Choir, a 7th Grade Choir and an 8th Grade Choir. In addition to the curricular concert choirs, Kennedy choir members may also join the Kennedy Singers, a select group of singers dedicated to the performance of advanced choral literature.

Choral instruction is available to any interested student. Once a student registers for choir, he or she is expected to attend all rehearsals and performances for the duration of the school year.

Participation in the school musical is open to anyone in the whole school. Students do not have to be in Choir to be in the school musical.
