document.write('<tr><td align=left valign=top width="300"><center><BR><H3><u>About the instructor...</u></H3></center><font size="2"><b>Heidi Sass</b><p>The 2013-14 School year, marks Mrs. Heidi Sass\'s 6th year teaching Vocal/General Music in District 203.  Mrs. Sass is currently working towards her Masters Degree in Education.  Mrs. Sass earned a Bachelor of Music Degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in Vocal Performance with an emphasis on Opera.  After graduation she spent several years performing as a vocalist. After performing, she had the opportunity to teach music in Montego Bay, Jamaica where she taught Elementary Music and High School Women\'s Choir.  After returning to the U.S. she received her Certification and a Bachelor of Music Education from Elmhurst College.</p><BR><BR></font> </td><td align=left valign=top cellpadding=5 width="300"><center><BR><H3><u>About the program...</u></H3></center><font size="2"><p>All students at Ranch View attend Music Class.  <br/>Kindergarten attends once a week and 1st thru 5th grades attend twice a week.</p><p>In Music Class the students are learning about the main elements of music such as Rhythm, Melody, Harmony, Tempo, Form, Dynamics, Genre, Tone Color, and Texture.  They experience these elements through singing, playing instruments, movement, listening to pieces of music, composing music, performing music, reading musical articles and books, attending music field trips, learning music history, & making cultural connections.</p></font> </td></tr>')
